Job summary

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Inpatient Oncology Float Pool role serving Mount Auburn Hospital. Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN license current and unrestricted
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification within 6 months or as role requires
• BSN strongly preferred; if only ADN, BSN must be completed within 4 years
• 1 year of recent RN experience; oncology/hematology experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct oncology nursing care across inpatient units with assessments and care planning
• Administer chemotherapy and supportive therapies per protocols; monitor for adverse events
• Manage central venous access devices; perform blood draws and transfusions per policy
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, self-care, and discharge plans; coordinate referrals
• Document care in Epic; maintain accurate medication records and flowsheets
• Participate in quality and safety activities and support research protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, pharmacists, social workers, and research staff
• May serve as charge nurse or preceptor; provide direction to staff
