Job summary

Amcor is hiring an Injection Molding Process Technician in the Phoenix area. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing large injection molding equipment in the molding department, with emphasis on safety, quality, and attendance.

Overtime is built in on a 12-hour night shift, and pay ranges from $24.00 to $30.00 per hour plus a $2.00 night shift differential. The candidate will perform mold changes, adjustments to optimize cycles, and support color/material changes while monitoring scrap,

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of injection molding process technician experience preferred.
• Must be mechanically and electrically inclined.
• Must be safety and quality conscious.

Responsibilities

• Adjust injection molding machines to optimize cycle and part quality.
• Perform mold insert changes.
• Assist with size, color and material changes.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and devise action plans.
• Monitor scrap and ensure accurate accounting.
• Ensure machines repaired properly and promptly.
