Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle in Erlanger, KY is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 12-hour night shift on a rotating continental schedule. The role maintains high-speed packaging and end-of-line automation equipment, performs preventative maintenance, and provides hands-on guidance to production teams while supporting safety and lean initiatives.

You will troubleshoot electrical, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical systems, install and commission equipment, ensure NFPA 40E/OSHA compliance, and

Qualifications

• 5 years of proven experience in electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fields.
• Associates Degree in Electronics or Certificate in Electrical Maintenance preferred.
• Prior work experience in a manufacturing facility; food manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of safety, lockout/tagout, hazmat, and quality systems.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, identifies causes of breakdowns in electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment.
• Plans and performs work with knowledge of electrical codes and materials.
• Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment per safety procedures.
• Advises operators on operation procedures and safety requirements.
• Maintains CMMS records and documents scheduled maintenance.
