Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Akron, OH facility. This on-site role covers nights in a 12-hour 2-2-3 rotation, troubleshooting production equipment and performing repairs across electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

You will read schematics, diagnose PLC I/O and ladder logic faults, perform preventive maintenance, and keep accurate records while adhering to safety and food-quality practices.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot production equipment, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics to assist repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and read ladder logic to identify faults.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.
