Job summary

RRD Company in Newark, DE is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician for night shift to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on high-speed automated machinery, electrical systems, and related controls, ensuring maximum throughput and minimal downtime.

The role requires 3–5 years of electro-mechanical experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work independently on nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree or technical cert preferred.
• 3–5 years related electro-mechanical experience required.
• Strong English communication and computer literacy essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support and troubleshoot electromechanical problems to maximize throughput.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to PM plan; document work performed.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control systems to reduce downtime.
• Coordinate with supervision on shutdowns, repairs, and part inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize work area; train junior staff as needed.
