Job summary

Qnity is seeking an Instrument & Electrical (I&E) Technician to support maintenance at our Newark, DE site on a 12-hour night shift (6:00 PM–6:00 AM). The role covers repair and maintenance of electrical equipment and instrumentation for safe, reliable operation, with emphasis on troubleshooting and predictive maintenance in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates will have Delaware Journeyperson Electrician License and experience with plant instrumentation and electrical systems, plus

Qualifications

Delaware Journeyperson Electrician License is required.
Active Master Electrician License through the Delaware Board of Electrical Examiners is preferred, but not required.
Instrumentation and electrical knowledge and experience in manufacturing environments are preferred.
5+ years of industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots, installs, maintains, and repairs electrical equipment up to 480VAC, 3-phase including motors, VFDs, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems.
Troubleshoots, installs, maintains, configures, tests, calibrates, and repairs plant equipment including valves, regulators, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
Troubleshoots, installs, maintains, configures, tests, calibrates, and repairs instrumentation including flow, pressure, temperature, level, load cells, and proximity sensors.
Writes operating, isolation, and maintenance procedures and assists in training on I&E equipment.
