Job summary

Johnsonville Meadowside manufacturing facility in Wisconsin is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the night shift (9:00pm–5:30am). You will apply RC M techniques to improve equipment performance, perform maintenance of utility gear, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and engage with capital projects and outside vendors.

We value candidates with industrial maintenance experience, basic electrical know-how, and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic electrical experience required; PLC knowledge a plus.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration, HVAC and boilers a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply RC M techniques to improve performance of production equipment.
• Perform maintenance of utility equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on production/utility equipment; apply RCA techniques to prevent recurrence.
• Work on projects with machining, fabrication, capital projects and vendors.
• Gather information to create technical equipment data for preventive maintenance in SAP.
• Assist with new equipment installation or relocation.
• Maintain facilities and equipment to meet Meadowside, OSHA and USDA standards.
• Contribute to uptime improvements via equipment modifications and layout changes.
• Maintain all utility areas in a neat/orderly fashion.
