Job summary

GE Vernova in the United States is seeking an Industrial Electrical Technician for the maintenance, repair and improvement of system-controlled robotics, machine tools and equipment in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree or equivalent with expertise in electrical motors, PLCs and safety practices. Shifts include 2nd or 3rd, with a Night Shift Bonus and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate or equivalent in electrical technology or mechatronics.
• Experience with electrical motors, PLCs and robotics in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards (NFPA 79, LOTO) and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical aspects of CNC tools, PLCs and robotics.
• Diagnose problems, plan work and order parts.
• Install, troubleshoot and repair control systems up to 600V.
• Maintain and modify machine tools and facilities.
• Apply knowledge of motors, drives, instruments and sensors.
