Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Industrial Electrical Technician to support manufacturing by maintaining and improving system-controlled robotics, machine tools, and equipment. The role emphasizes electrical troubleshooting, PLCs (Fanuc/Siemens), and safety-focused maintenance in a dynamic plant environment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, repairing CNC tools, motors, drives, and control systems up to 600V, with shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Technology/Mechatronics or High School Diploma/GED with Military Electronics Training.
• Willingness to work off shifts and weekends.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing facility maintenance role.
• Familiarity with electrical motors and control circuits.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety (NFPA 79, LOTO).
• Experience with Fanuc/Siemens PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical aspects of CNC machine tools, PLC ladder, VFD motors, and robotics.
• Diagnose problems, plan and complete work, identify and order parts.
• Install, modify, troubleshoot, test and repair electrical and electronic control systems up to 600V.
• Maintain and modify machine tools, process equipment and facilities.
• Know components used in industrial equipment incl. motors, drives, sensors.
