Job summary

The Industrial Mechanical Technician at GE Vernova will be responsible for operating, maintaining and improving system-controlled robotics, machine tools and equipment in a manufacturing facility. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting and strong safety practices.

Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift and weekends is required, with a base pay range and benefits described in the posting. GE Vernova provides competitive compensation and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Discipline or equivalent with military machinist training.
• Willingness to work off shifts and weekends, including night shifts.
• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing facility maintenance role; strong mechanical/hydraulic knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate equipment condition and decide repair/rebuild strategy.
• Own preventative maintenance and perform extensive repairs; diagnose, plan and order parts.
• Maintain and modify machine tools, conveyors, pumps, motors, and guards; manage lubrication and coolant.
• Apply knowledge of industrial components and devices used in mechanical systems.
