Job summary

GE Vernova Operations LLC is seeking an Industrial Mechanical Technician to operate, maintain and improve system-controlled robotics, machine tools and equipment. You will lead preventative maintenance, diagnose issues and plan repairs to maximize uptime.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Mechanical or a High School Diploma with Military Machinist Training, and 3+ years in a manufacturing maintenance setting. Off-shift work and Night shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Mechanical discipline or equivalent Military Machinist Training is required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing facility in a technical maintenance role is expected.
• Willingness to work off shifts and weekends, including 2nd or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate equipment condition and determine repair/rebuild strategy.
• Own preventative maintenance and perform extensive repairs.
• Diagnose problems, plan work, and order parts as needed.
• Maintain and modify machine tools, conveyors, and process equipment.
• Apply knowledge of mechanical components and safety practices (LOTO).
