Job summary

GE Vernova Operations LLC in the United States is seeking an Industrial Mechanical Technician to oversee operation, maintenance and improvement of system-controlled robotics, machine tools and equipment.

You will identify and repair equipment, perform preventative maintenance, diagnose problems, and manage parts; shift work includes 2nd or 3rd shifts. Night shift bonus of $1.00/hour is available.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Discipline or High School Diploma with Military Machinist Training.
• Minimum 3 years in a Manufacturing Facility in a technical maintenance role.
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge and safety practices (LOTO, schematics, precision tools).

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate the condition of equipment and determine strategy to repair and rebuild.
• Own preventative maintenance and extensive repairs.
• Diagnose problems, plan and complete work required, identify and order parts.
• Maintain and modify machine tools, conveyors, process equipment, facilities including spindles, pumps, motors, guarding, drives, bearings, lead screws including lubrication fluids and coolant.
