Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking an HSE Technician II to join the Salt Lake City HSE team. The role supports health, safety, and environmental programs, conducts inspections, and helps drive continuous safety improvements.

The candidate will deliver training, assist with incident investigations, manage documentation, and work across manufacturing, labs, and office environments to strengthen the site's proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 6+ years HSE experience with 3+ years OSHA-related duties in manufacturing.
• Experience delivering safety training and conducting inspections and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE programs to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Conduct workplace inspections and environmental assessments with corrective actions.
• Perform JHAs and risk assessments to mitigate hazards.
• Deliver safety orientations and training to employees.
• Investigate incidents and track corrective actions.
• Support environmental compliance and maintain safety records.
• Collaborate with leadership on continuous safety improvements.
