bioMérieux in Salt Lake City is seeking a knowledgeable Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Technician II to support the site HSE program and drive continuous safety improvements.

The role partners with employees and leaders to identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, deliver trainings, investigate incidents, and maintain environmental compliance across manufacturing, lab, and office environments. Strong OSHA knowledge and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 6 years of HSE experience, including 3 years OSHA-related duties in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE programs, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct workplace inspections and environmental assessments; document findings and corrective actions.
• Perform JHAs and risk assessments to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
• Deliver safety orientations and training; participate in safety committees.
