Piedmont Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer for Eastside Medical Center in Georgia. The role covers routine safety duties, emergency response, and weapon screening to protect patients and staff.

You will document incidents, de‑escalate situations, and ensure policy compliance in a fast‑paced healthcare environment. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid in-state driver’s license, and io de‑escalation training; IAHS certification within 1 year, pre‑employment

Formación

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• No experience required; 2 years in general security/public safety preferred.
• Driver license valid in-state; comply with Piedmont vehicle safety policy.
• IAHSS certification within 1 year required.
• Pre-employment psychological screening required.
• Training to include Taser, ASP Baton, Mental Health First Aid and related certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Provide routine safety and emergency security for the facility.
• First responder to emergencies within the facility.
• Screen for weapons and maintain security of hospital and surroundings.
• Document incidents and conduct initial investigations.
• De-escalate difficult or aggressive situations and apply appropriate restraints.
• Direct traffic and assist patients/visitors as needed.
• Enforce policies and state/federal laws applicable to the site.
