Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment psychological screening and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Piedmont values and provide excellent customer service to patients, staff and visitors.
• Screen for and interdict weapons entering a facility.
• Maintain security of the hospital, professional buildings, and parking areas.
• Perform safety routine and emergency security activities and document incidents.
• Actively monitor at-risk patients and de-escalate difficult situations.
• Respond to aggressive behavior and apply necessary restraints.
• Document in the medical record and enforce PHC policies and laws.
• Direct traffic when required and assist emergencies as needed.
