Piedmont Eastside Medical Center is seeking a security officer to support safety across our campus in Georgia. You will deliver patient- and staff-focused protection, screen entrants for weapons, and help maintain a secure environment across facilities and parking areas.

The role includes documenting incidents, de-escalating tense situations, and following established policies while collaborating with a dedicated team to ensure reliable safety for patients and visitors.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No experience required; 2 years in security/public safety preferred.
• Includes required certifications and ongoing training as listed in the postings.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate Piedmont values and provide excellent service to patients, staff and visitors.
• Screen for and interdict weapons entering the facility.
• Maintain security of hospital and adjacent areas including parking areas.
• Perform incident documentation and initial investigations.
• Actively monitor at-risk patients and deescalate difficult situations.
• Respond to aggressive behavior and apply restraints when necessary.
• Document activities in medical records and follow PHC policies.
