Job summary

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required; up to 2 years in security/public safety preferred.
• Licenses and certifications required within set timeframes and ongoing training as directed by Piedmont

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Piedmont values and provide excellent customer service to patients, staff and visitors.
• Screen for weapons entering a facility and maintain security of the hospital, buildings and parking areas.
• Perform routine safety and emergency security activities and document incidents in the medical record.
• Respond to aggressive behavior, de-escalate situations and, when needed, apply restraints under policy.
• Ensure compliance with all Piedmont policies, regulations and applicable laws.
