Job summary

Riverside Methodist Hospital, part of OhioHealth, is seeking a pharmacist for a full-time night shift. Responsibilities include dispensing, counseling, and managing patient drug therapy in a high-quality care setting.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses and other professionals, precept students, and contribute to safety and efficiency within the pharmacy. Ohio licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
• Current Ohio pharmacist license is required.
• ASHP-accredited residency or equivalent pharmacy practice experience.
• Pharmacy board certifications or other certifications.
• Collaborative practice experience.
• ACLS may be required to obtain per manager.
• Pharmacokinetic drug dosing experience.
• Pharmacist duties include dispensing, counseling, and drug utilization review.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and compound medications with accuracy and safety.
• Counsel patients on medications and health topics.
• Interpret prescriptions and manage drug therapy in collaboration with providers.
• Provide drug information to clinicians and patients as needed.
• Precept and mentor pharmacy students and residents.
• Direct and supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
