Responsibilities

• Professionally and courteously answer all incoming calls and route to appropriate department or staff.
• Provide general information about the hospital, visiting hours, location, and services.
• Accurately record and relay messages to hospital staff in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergencies and code calls, coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Keep detailed records of calls and messages and assist distressed callers with empathy.
• Use phone, paging, and intercom systems and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Adhere to HIPAA and hospital confidentiality policies.
• Deliver excellent customer service and address inquiries and concerns.
