University of Michigan is seeking a Unit Custodian to keep patient care areas clean and organized. Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, restrooms, fixtures, changing linens, moving furniture, and reporting repairs.

Qualifikationen

• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Must be able to perform a wide range of physical activities.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.

Aufgaben

• Clean and polish furniture, cases, fixtures, and furnishings.
• Clean mirrors, glass surfaces, and fixtures throughout the facility.
• Clean toilet rooms and fixtures.
• Dust venetian blinds and wash walls as needed.
• Make beds and change linen.
• Move and arrange furniture as required.
• Collect and transport waste materials to a central location.
• Open or lock buildings or rooms and manage lighting as needed.
• Report items in need of repair and maintain supplies inventory.
