Job summary

Four Seasons Hospice in Henderson County, North Carolina, seeks an experienced Support RN to serve in a night shift role (Monday–Thursday, 11 PM–9 AM). You will perform admissions, patient visits, and comprehensive nursing assessments to enable patients to access hospice benefits.

The position reports to Clinical Team Leader and offers a salary/exempt status with full-time hours. Responsibilities include delivering nursing care, charting assessments, and coordinating with other care providers.

Qualifications

• Valid NC RN license.
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records systems.
• Demonstrate excellent organization skills.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s physical and mental health including reactions to illness and treatment.
• Record and report nursing assessment results.
• Plan, initiate, deliver, and evaluate nursing care.
• Teach, supervise, and coordinate other personnel in implementing the treatment regimen.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to determine the patient- and family-centered plan.
