Job summary

Four Seasons Hospice seeks an experienced RN to join our Clinical Team supporting Henderson County and surrounding areas. You will perform 2-4 admissions daily when shifts allow and may conduct patient visits, delivering direct nursing care and comprehensive assessments.

Responsibilities include planning and coordinating care with other providers, teaching patients and families, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and adapting to a varied schedule. A valid NC RN license and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to care for patients with infectious disease processes where accommodations are approved
• Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulations and Medicare Conditions of Participation
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules and regulations
• Knowledge of electronic medical records systems
• Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Ability to take initiative and utilize innovative techniques and ingenuity
• Ability to interact with various departments throughout the organization
• Ability to work flexible hours, if needed
• Ability to participate as a team player to coordinate projects
• Ability to plan, prioritize and coordinate multiple projects
• Demonstrate skill/expertise in pain and symptom management

• Demonstrate understanding of reimbursement, regulatory requirements, and Medicare Conditions of Participation

Responsibilities

• Perform 2-4 admissions daily depending on shift and patient complexity
• Conduct patient visits and provide direct nursing care as needed
• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients to identify needs
• Plan, initiate, deliver, and evaluate nursing acts
• Teach and supervise other personnel in implementing the treatment regimen
• Collaborate with other health care providers on patient-centered plans
• Implement prescribed treatment and pharmaceutical regimens
• Provide patient health teaching and counseling
• Record and report nursing plans and patient responses
• Supervise and evaluate staff performing nursing functions
