Job summary

Suncoast Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a caring Hospice Care Center Registered Nurse for our Care Center in Palm Harbor, FL. This full-time night position (8p–8a) covers Pinellas and Hillsborough counties and involves coordinating patient needs and managing symptoms for terminally ill patients.

Responsibilities include assessment, education, and support for patients and families, with supervision of LPNs and aides.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent bedside nursing experience.
• Florida RN license required.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and coordinate patient/family needs.
• Provide assessment, intervention and education to maximize comfort.
• Oversee LPNs and aides in the GIP environment.
• Float to other units as needed.
