Job summary

Suncoast Hospice, a member of Empath Health, seeks a caring CNA to provide patient care at our Care Center in Pinellas County on the night shift 8p-8a (3 shifts per week), every other weekend. You will deliver quality, patient-centered care under a licensed nurse and report changes in patient condition.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification and CNA license are required.
• One to Three Years of training and/or experience; LTC experience preferred.
• Valid CPR certification from ARC or AHA is required.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License if driving between facilities is needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and home maintenance per the Hospice Aide Plan of Care.
• Recognize and report unusual conditions to the patient’s nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and family information at all times.
• Support the mission and values of the organization in daily care.
