Bristol Hospice seeks compassionate Registered Nurses to serve as Warriors of the Night, delivering after-hours hospice care with autonomy and empathy. You will handle admissions, triage calls, and coordinate with RN leadership to ensure patient needs are met.

Responsibilities include dispatching field staff, updating patient records, and providing shift reports. Flexibility for evenings, nights, and weekends is essential; travel across the Bristol Hospice service area is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with knowledge of hospice and telephone triage preferred.
• Current RN licensure in good standing with the state.
• Understand hospice philosophy and needs of the terminally ill.

Responsibilities

• Perform after-hours and weekend visits and admissions as needed.
• Follow up on calls directing to appropriate RN leadership or manage per scope of practice.
• Coordinate dispatch of field nurses and staff to patient residences in a timely manner.
• Receive and give shift reports per location workflow.
• Document calls and outcomes in the call-triage software.
