Job summary
Bristol Hospice is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to serve as Warriors of the Night, providing after-hours and weekend visits, admissions, and telehealth triage. You will coordinate with DPCS, RN Supervisor, and Case Manager, dispatch field nurses, refill prescriptions, and document outcomes in our care coordination system. Join a family-centered, mission-driven hospice team delivering dignity and support to patients and families.
Qualifications
Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing with the state.
Hospice knowledge and telephone triage experience preferred.
Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends.
Ability to travel within Bristol Hospice service area.
Must lift up to 50 lbs and handle stressful situations.
Responsibilities
Perform after-hours visits and admissions as needed.
Direct calls to DPCS, RN Supervisor, or Case Manager.
Dispatch field staff to patient residences promptly.
Manage prescriptions, supplies, and DME as needed.
Document calls and outcomes in the software system.
