Job summary

Bristol Hospice is seeking compassionate and courageous Registered Nurses to serve as our Warriors of the Night, delivering after-hours hospice visits and admissions for patients and families during evenings, nights, and weekends. You will travel within our service area and coordinate with the RN team to ensure high-quality, dignified care.

You will need an active RN license, hospice knowledge, and solid computer data entry skills; weekend work Fri 5pm–Mon 8am is required, with the support of a

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN in good standing.
• Hospice knowledge and telephone triage preferred.
• Strong computer data entry and basic software skills.

Responsibilities

• Will perform after hours and weekend visits and admissions as needed.
• Dispatch field nurses and other appropriate staff to patient’s residence in a timely manner.
• Document calls, conversations and outcomes of call-in software system.
• Receive start-of-shift report and give end-of-shift report in accordance with location workflow.
• All other duties as assigned.
