Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a high-demand acute setting. You will assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, and educate families while coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes.

Requirements include Florida RN licensure and an associate degree in nursing (bachelor’s preferred). Prior acute care experience is favored; English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• RN with Florida license required.
• Associate degree in nursing required; bachelor's preferred.
• Acute care hospital experience preferred.
• English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Assess physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; evaluate and adjust as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and teamwork.
• Document patient information, care activities, and outcomes accurately.
• Monitor care plan effectiveness and adjust to improve health outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
