Job summary

Standard Construction Co., a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to service and repair heavy construction equipment and trucks. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems, and perform welding, dismantling, and reassembly tasks as needed.

Responsibilities also include following safety procedures, wearing PPE, and assisting with other maintenance duties to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.

Qualifications

• Two year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• Extensive experience in truck and heavy equipment maintenance and repair, including diesels, hydraulic systems and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair heavy equipment and trucks.
• Inspect and diagnose defects in diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment, using hoists and hand tools.
• Weld broken parts and assist with assembly and disassembly of equipment.
• Follow safety policies, wear PPE, and keep records of time and parts used.
