Job summary

CRH is looking for a maintenance technician to work in a team environment maintaining and repairing heavy equipment and trucks. The role requires diagnosing defects, disassembling/reassembling components, and welding as needed.

CDL is preferred, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance. The selected candidate will follow OSHA/MSHA guidelines, operate and inspect equipment, and coordinate with managers to plan daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Two year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• Extensive experience in truck and heavy equipment maintenance and repair, including diesels, hydraulic systems and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect machines and equipment to diagnose defects.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools.
• Replace defective engines and sub-assemblies such as transmissions and pumps.
• Test overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
• Weld broken parts and structural members.
• Plan work procedures and possible solutions for improvements.
• Assist other maintenance staff to ensure overall equipment efficiency.
