Job summary

CraneWorks/RentalWorks is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair a range of mobile rental and construction equipment and on-highway trucks. You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems using OEM software and diagnostic tools.

The role requires experience with diesel engines and brakes, and offers a full-time schedule with overtime and weekend work. The environment is a repair shop and field settings with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Pass drug test and background check.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on RentalWorks and customer equipment.
• Operate and test equipment during rental ready process.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of rental equipment.
• Diagnose and repair equipment using electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Assist in rebuilding and repairing major machine components.
• Identify repairs covered by warranty.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
• Uphold high safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
