Job summary

Standard Construction Co., a CRH Company, seeks a skilled technician to maintain and repair heavy equipment and trucks in a team environment. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to OSHA/MSHA standards, and reliable equipment operation.

The ideal candidate has a two-year certificate and extensive experience with diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems; CDL Class A is preferred. Travel and outdoor work may be required.

Qualifications

• Two-year certificate from college or technical school is preferred.
• Extensive experience in truck and heavy equipment maintenance and repair, including diesels, hydraulic systems and electrical systems.
• Ability to follow safety policies and wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Report problems to the manager and follow directions for daily tasks.
• Analyze malfunctions and repair/maintain heavy equipment and vehicles as needed.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment, inspect parts for damage, and replace defective components.
• Test overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiency and proper function.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of work and production areas.
