Job summary

Hinkle Contracting, LLC, a CRH company, seeks a skilled mechanic to diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel, gasoline, and natural gas powered equipment. This is primarily a second shift role reporting to the Preventive Maintenance Coordinator.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, tool handling, DOT inspections, and keeping accurate maintenance records. Must own tools; CDL is preferred but not required. Weekend hours may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate, GED or equivalent (preferred).
• Excellent communication and attention to detail are required.
• Willingness to work weekends and extended hours is needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, repair and service diesel, gasoline and natural gas-powered equipment and vehicles.
• Operate hand, power and shop tools as required.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections; complete records.
