Job summary

Standard Construction Company is seeking a Night Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair heavy equipment, diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems. The role requires safe operation, adherence to OSHA/MSHA procedures, and teamwork with co-workers and managers.

The ideal candidate will have a two-year certificate and extensive experience with trucks and heavy equipment. CDL is preferred, and the position offers a full-time night shift and opportunities for growth within CRH family.

Qualifications

• Two year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• Extensive experience in truck and/or heavy equipment maintenance and repair, including diesels, hydraulic systems and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze malfunctions and repairs, rebuild and maintain equipment including heavy construction equipment.
• Operate and inspect machines and equipment to diagnose defects.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools.
• Replace defective engines and sub-assemblies such as transmissions, electric motors, drums, seals, hydraulic pumps, valves, pistons, rods, gears.
