Job summary

Meijer Terre Haute, IN is seeking an engaged Grocery Supervisor to lead daily grocery operations, focusing on staffing, training and delivering excellent customer service while meeting sales goals.

The Overnight Stocking Supervisor will plan, direct and supervise team members, ensure product presentation and compliance with company standards, and maintain a safe, efficient store environment. High school diploma and 2–3 years retail experience required, management a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other areas of the store such as meat, bakery, produce and deli; customer service and product flow experience is helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate to team members with clear direction.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and address root cause issues.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information and use that to make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and supervises team members in day-to-day operations within various departments of the store.
• Serves as mentor and coach for all team members.
• Implements strategies to improve customer service and drive store sales.
• Maintains store appearance with focus on prime shopping hours, product presentation and company standards.
