Job summary

Lamb Weston in Richland, WA is seeking a Relief Fryer Operator for night shifts to support co-product and mainline frying operations. You will monitor fryers, manage oil handling, and ensure product quality at tables while adhering to safety rules and procedures.

You will load/unload oil, perform oil quality checks, and participate in sanitation and safety programs. The role includes training others and maintaining process control data sheets, with emphasis on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Balance teamwork and individual responsibilities to maintain production schedules.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
• Sanitation qualifications and safe handling of cleaning procedures.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Monitor waste totes and equipment performance for the co-product and mainline fryers.
• Check RPM on the former head; adjust gauge and auger to maintain pressure.
• Assist with cut changes on mainline and co-product lines and monitor fryer temperatures.
• Load and unload oil trucks; move oil between tanks; pump oil in and out of fryers.
• Check oil quality and product quality at inspection tables; perform clean and sanitize tasks.
• Sunday cleanup of mainline boil-outs; participate in safety programs and risk assessments.
