Job summary

Lamb Weston is seeking a Fryer Operator - Nights B in Richland, WA. This role focuses on constant monitoring of fluid levels and temperatures in blanchers, dryers, and fryers, ensuring product quality and process efficiency.

Strong emphasis on safety, routine testing, and operation of oil and filtration systems is required. Responsibilities include maintaining oil levels, adjusting fryer controls, performing boilouts, and documenting measurements.

Qualifications

• Sanitation qualification required; if not qualified, training provided.
• Lock-out/Tag-out qualification required; if not qualified, training provided.
• Forklift Certification required; if not, employee must obtain it.
• Read, understand, and obey all plant rules and practice safety as outlined in the employee handbook.
• Practice proper body mechanics and safe lifting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Follow all plant safety policies and procedures; participate in safety programs and risk assessments.
• Monitor and control the temperature and time on the blancher, dryer, and fryer to meet product specs.
• Perform fry-ups to monitor product color and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness under and around fryer, de-oiler and precool area.
• Operate and monitor equipment with attention to oil quality and filtration systems.
• Record data using computer touch screens and report issues to supervisors.
