Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a warehouse associate to safely operate equipment used for moving packages and freight, including heavyweight and hazardous materials. You will assist in pallet buildup and breakdown and coordinate with ULD repair vendors as needed.

This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing and walking for long periods, bending and squatting, and the ability to work in multiple weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or another person.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend, squat, and maneuver packages in restricted spaces.
• Able to communicate clearly in a loud, busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient operation of equipment used for moving packages, documents, heavyweight freight, dangerous goods, and ULDs.
• Assist in buildup and breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between the company and ULD repair vendor as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
