Job summary

Federal Express Corporation in Connecticut is seeking a warehouse team member to operate equipment safely for moving packages and pallets. You will assist in pallet buildup and breakdown and act as liaison with the ULD repair vendor as required.

Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, walk and stand for long periods, climb stairs or ladders if needed, and have a valid driver’s license. Drug screen and background check are required; shift details apply.

Qualifications

• Capable of lifting 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to walk, stand, bend and squat for designated hours.
• Able to maneuver heavy packages using equipment and assistance as needed.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient operation of equipment used for moving packages and freight.
• Assist in buildup and breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between the company and ULD repair vendor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
