Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a Night Shift Forklift Operator for construction environments. You will read specifications, position pallets, and transport loads to designated areas in compliance with safety policies.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of related experience, and the ability to pass internal certification. You must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and interpret safety instructions; a $1,500 new hire bonus is offered along with

Qualifications

Minimum two years of related experience in construction/trades or equivalent.
Must be able to pass internal certification.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and perform forklift operations safely.

Responsibilities

Read job specifications to determine operator adjustments and material requirements.
Position forks and other lifting devices under, over, or around pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials.
Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device.
Inventory materials on the work floor and supply workers as needed.
Perform routine maintenance such as battery charging, lubrication, fueling, and cleaning.
Weigh materials or products and record weights on tags or production schedules.
Maintain clean, orderly work area and safe housekeeping.
