Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a hands-on production team member to assist the designated machine operator across maintenance, cleanup, yard work, and production support in our Mississippi facility.

You will operate tumblers, inspect product quality, report issues, and uphold safety rules while lifting up to 75 pounds and wearing PPE. This entry-level role offers $20–$22/hr, night shift premium, and benefits including 401(k) and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple operating instructions and safety procedures.
• While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds each, with assistance if needed, at heights from floor level to 4 feet high.
• Must wear company provided personal protective equipment - earplugs, hard hat, safety boots/shoes, and protective glasses.
• Candidates must provide their own safety boots/shoes upon hire and will be eligible to participate in Safety Boots/Shoe Reimbursement Program after 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Tumbl er equipment safely
• Inspect the quality of products according to standards, and remove junk from production line
• Detect and report any equipment malfunctions and quality issues to Plant Supervisor
• Sort product according to specification
• Assist in maintaining accurate production flow
• Perform machine clean-up, set-up, and other functions associated with job changes
• Execute Daily and Business fundamentals
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Plant Manager, Supervisor, and Lead Machine Operator
• Willing and able to cross-train on other aspects of the production process
• Other duties may be assigned as needed
