Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Operations position responsible for stocking received merchandise, operating and maintaining equipment associated with warehouse activity and performing other duties as required.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50–80 pounds, operate an electric forklift, and work nights. A high school diploma or 6 months related warehouse experience is expected, with 6 months of warehouse distribution experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and recognize basic words and numbers.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Basic arithmetic using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Operates electric forklift and drives truck to move pallets.
• Unloads/loads pallets using pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Stores/removes pallets from rack locations.
• Places products in overflow locations.
• Stacks products onto/off of pallets and into packing areas.
• Maintains clean work environment (sweeping, ice removal, trash removal).
• Transfers leftover items to Home slot at shift end.
• Cleans aisles and picks up leftover pallets; performs order selector duties as needed.
