Job summary

Sysco Nashville is seeking an Operations Associate to stock received merchandise in the correct locations, operate and maintain warehouse equipment, and support related duties in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves unloading/loading pallets with pallet jacks and forklifts, storing pallets, and ensuring a clean, safe workspace. Night shifts and standing for extended periods may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent warehouse experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic work instructions and safety guidelines.
• Experience with pallet jacks and forklifts preferred.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and workload tracking.

Responsibilities

• Operates electric forklift and moves pallets in cooler, freezer, and dry spaces.
• Unloads/loads pallets using pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Stores pallets in rack locations and moves products to overflow locations.
• Keeps work areas clean; sweeps, removes trash, and maintains aisles.
• Performs duties of order selector as needed.
