Job summary

Sysco Tampa Bay is seeking an Operations Associate to stock received merchandise, operate warehouse equipment, and perform related duties to support efficient distribution.

The role involves unloading/loading pallets, placing product in correct locations, and keeping aisles clean. Minimum requirements: a high school diploma or GED and 6 months of warehouse experience; ability to work nights; capable of lifting up to 80 lbs; stand and move for long periods.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience or training preferred.
• Ability to read simple instructions and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to work nights and handle physical tasks.
• Experience with stocking and moving merchandise in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Operates electric forklift in cooler, freezer, and dry spaces.
• Unloads/loads pallets using pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Stores/removes pallets in rack locations and transfers leftovers to Home slot.
• Keeps work area clean; sweeps and removes trash; maintains safety practices.
• Performs order selector duties as needed.
