Job summary

Sysco Central Alabama, Inc. is seeking an Operations associate to stock received merchandise, operate and maintain warehouse equipment, and perform related duties. The role requires handling pallets, loading/unloading, and maintaining an orderly workspace.

You will move goods across cooler, freezer, and dry spaces, using pallet jacks and forklifts, with attention to safety and efficiency. This full-time position may include night shifts and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 6 months warehouse experience.
• Ability to work nights.
• Preferred: previous stand-up forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate electric forklift in cooler, freezer and dry spaces.
• Unload/load pallets using pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Store and move pallets to rack locations and packing areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and sweep/clean as required.
• Assist as order selector when needed.
