Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work overtime and schedule changes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cartons and trays for packaging by folding, taping, sorting, labeling and assembling packaging materials.
• Verify packaging materials are prepared and available for production.
• Pack products into cartons, trays and displays according to product specifications.
• Ensure products are packaged in correct cases and labeled accurately.
• TAPE and seal cartons when required.
• Conduct visual inspections of finished products and packaging; remove those not meeting standards.
• Communicate packaging quality concerns to supervision.
• Support sanitation, safety and 5S in the packing area.
• Assist with production line startups and changeovers as needed.
