Job summary

The Campbell's Company in Franklin, WI is seeking a night-shift Packer to ensure finished products are packaged accurately and safely. You will prepare packaging materials, inspect finished goods, and palletize products while maintaining a clean, organized production area.

Strong attendance and punctuality are essential for this 12-hour schedule. You will follow 5S practices and safety procedures, work with machine operators and supervisors, and participate in overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or at least 1 year of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work safely around moving mechanical equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to product quality and packaging specifications.
• Ability to follow safety, hygiene, sanitation, housekeeping, and 5S procedures.
• Ability to work mandatory overtime as required by production needs.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cardboard cartons and trays for packing by folding, taping, sorting, labeling, and securing cartons.
• Ensure tape guns and carton-taping equipment have adequate supplies and are ready for use.
• Perform visual inspections of finished product packaging and labels.
• Identify and remove products that do not meet specifications and communicate packaging or quality concerns.
• Fill cartons and displays according to packaging specifications and verify labels.
• Stack cartons and trays on pallets using the designated quantity and stacking pattern.
• Move finished goods using a pallet jack where applicable.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment following 5S practices.
