Job summary

Sizemore Inc. in Columbus, OH seeks a Floor Care Technician to maintain floors and carpets and support building maintenance. The role operates on a night shift schedule (11:45 PM–5:45 AM) with 34 hours per week and provides a clear path for career growth.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Some cleaning experience preferred.
Ability to work night shift and/or very early morning hours.
Reliable and detail-oriented; able to multitask.

Responsibilities

Handles hard floor care, including routine mopping, scrubbing and buffing on hard surfaces.
Provides carpet maintenance: vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting and extracting carpets.
Provides other cleaning services: dusting, restroom and general area cleaning.
Operates floor care machines safely and according to manufacturer instructions.
Follows safety requirements and reports time worked promptly.
Interacts respectfully with customers and personnel; reports equipment issues.
Keeps storage area organized and supplies stocked; notifies supervisor of shortages.
Lead technician may apply wax after training and guides others as needed.
