Job summary

Sizemore Inc. in Sandusky, OH is seeking a Floor Care Technician responsible for maintaining hard floors and carpeting across client sites. You will operate floor care equipment, follow safety rules, and ensure areas are clean and ready for customers.

Work with a team, report to the supervisor, and be able to lift up to 45 pounds. Night or early morning shifts are required, with steady hours and opportunities for growth within Sizemore.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift 45 pounds and operate floor care equipment.
• Ability to work night shift and/or very early morning hours.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Handles hard floor care, including routine mopping, scrubbing, and buffing.
• Provides carpet maintenance: vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting, extraction.
• Provides other cleaning services such as dusting and restroom cleaning.
• Operates all floor care machines safely.
• Follows safety requirements and reports issues.
• Reports time worked and attendance.
• Keeps storage area organized and supplies.
• Assists with other duties periodically, including floor stripping.
